Hi There,
I'm an Australian who actually enjoys teaching in Korea (although sometimes reading daves I wonder of I lost my mind somewhere on the train on the first ride between Seoul and Daegu).
Seriously though, I really would love to get Summer Camp work there. I have done 18 months Hagwon as well as University teaching for a year at Daegu Catholic University. I also have a six month TESOL and a Degree.
I can pay for my own air fare, as long as I pull in about W2.000.000 a month, I'll be happy. I can organise the short term visa from here. University is definitely prefered, about two three months preferred, young adults preferred but anything goes.
So far I seem to have seen mostly postings for year long jobs. Does anyone know when summer work is usually advertised?
I think recruiters would be unlikely to be paid as much for finding summer teachers, I will continue asking them.
Anyone have a tip or news of jobs in Daegu? I will be coming in June but can change my ticket date.
I am checking the job vacancies here and I will post my Resume on the Job Wanted board.
I just thought someone might have a recommendation to help me out....
I have heard warnings against using a tourist visa and don't intend to do this at all..
Any advice would be appreciated.
