I have a friend who is planning on coming to Korea for about 3 months (end of May to end of August) and she's hoping to find employment here. She'll be done school, but won't have her diploma since she'll be coming before her convocation ceremony.
An E-2 is out of the question, as she's only looking for part-time work. I'm thinking, since she's of korean descent, that getting an F-4 would be beneficial in her finding a position?
Additionally, would places (what places?) be interested in hiring someone like her so short term?
Any helpful information or guidance to her situation would be greatly appreciated. |

It was the same thing at my university; we couldn't get the diploma until the ceremony. However, we could get an official letter from the registrar stating that we had graduated and in what field, so maybe your friend could do the same. |

Depending on where she is from:
A) H1 (working holiday) may be an option (not available for Americans).
B) F4 if she can get the paperwork done.
If not A) or B) then work is NOT a legal option without an apostilled copy of her parchment.

Without her documents, she can still find temp work. She will need the following:
1. a western face
2. a pulse
Beyond that, being young, white and good looking are highly sought after job qualifications. |
