I'll probably be in Seoul this weekend and I wouldn't mind picking up some decent dark chocolate. It doesn't need to be super high quality but I'd like it to be quite a bit better than Hersheys/Cadburys and all the similar Korean companies making barely edible chocolate.
Can anyone suggest a place that isn't ridiculously expensive?

Thanks

The Seoul Finance Center's basement has a pretty high end one.

I think there's one in Itaewon as well.

There's a chocolate shop very roughly opposite the IP Boutique Hotel (nee Itaewon Hotel). Never been in there though. Alternatively, near the Hangangjin subway station, there's a black modern building which has a bread/cake/chocolate/jam shop on the entire bottom floow that will blow your mind away (and also the contents of your wallet and bank account). Not sure if they carry dark chocolate, but they do sell their choc products in a special, air conditioned shop-in-shop. Might be worth visiting just for the experience. Maybe Highstreet Market right of the IP Boutique Hotel carries some US made chocolate. Let me know when you're in Bangkok or Tokyo next time and I'll direct you to the best and probably most expensive chocolate in the World.

If you mean Jubilee (a few minutes walk from exit 3, Itaewon), then I agree that it's good. They also have branches in Hyehwa, two in Yeouido, and probably elsewhere. Not the best I've ever had, but yum!

Not sure if it's the same one you guys are talking about but there is a great little place down the road from Taco Amigo on the opposite side of the street.
