Hi guys,
I'm home in Canada now but quite frequently visit a few Korean restaurants in my city. I'm 10 wks pregnant, and was told to avoid eating any undercooked eggs (specifically the yolk) as to avoid salmonella poisoning. I'm wondering specifically about Dolsot Bibimbap. I know that the stone pot is hot, and the egg for the most part cooks upon stirring, but has anyone heard that you should avoid this particular dish? A friend of mine said I shouldn't eat it because you "can't be too sure", but I quite like dolsot bap and would like to be able to eat it.
Any thoughts?
Thanks! |

Just ask for it without the egg, or ask them to fry the egg completely before serving. Easy peasy. |
