|
|
First off, I apologise if this thread already exists, I've searched through a lot of pages and haven't found anything so I think I am safe making this new thread...
Does anyone know of any cat kennels or cat sitters in Seoul? I am moving to Korea at the end of May and am bringing my cat with me. I don't plan on going away all that often, but on the off chance that I want to take a trip out of Seoul I want to know that there is somewhere I can leave my cat where she will be well taken care of. (She's okay on her own for one night, but I don't like leaving her on her own for any longer than that)
Any ideas?
Cheers! |

Thanks, everyone! (I can't believe this thread didn't get any "funny" sarcastic responses! LOL).
I will definitely check out that facebook group. |

Be careful leaving your cat with a vet. My friend left her cat with a vet in Haebangchon and the poor thing was riddled with nasty bedsores when she collected him.
Try to get a recommendation before you leave him/her anywhere. |

Hey-o,
We live near Noksapyeong Station (Itaewon area) and the Itaewon Animal Hospital is great. They have an area for cats and the cost is 15,000 per day. In addition, they have a whole separate room about the size of a closet including window access that's 20,000 a night. The setup for the regular kennels are a bit strange. They are sized alright but have glass doors that look out into the retail part of the vet's clinic. Not a lot of foot or other animal traffic if it's on the second floor but I would definitely suggest the private room for a bit more. They recently remodeled and the staff is nice.
Otherwise, make sure you check with the vet! When we first moved here, my recruiter promised me I could have the cats. The school said no. We were going to work it out with the school and in the mean time wanted to find a vet where the cats could stay. We got to the vet's office (the size of a large walk-in closet) and he informed us that the cats would be staying in their cat carriers. Horrified, we went to Itaewon Animal Hospital as we were more familiar with them.
Otherwise Pet Sitting Network or PM me or other pet people and we'd be happy to help out! |
