|
|
I've been offered a position with a franchise/branch company and there are a few parts of the contract that I would like to have changed. The guy from their headquarters said that it's basically impossible to change their contracts because they all use a standard contract and no one has any problems with it and that I'm basically being too nitpicky (One of the clauses says basically that my duties and hours can be changed at the will of the employer).
Is it true that these school chains use a standard contract that they can't just change as a result of my requests or is it still up to the director of the school?
Thanks for all the help. =D |

| No, all they have to do is edit the word file or whatever. It just means they're too lazy to try and think about multiple contracts at once. I wouldn't doubt that they'd be lazy when it comes to other stuff, too. |

a lot of it depends on what you want to change.
some stuff can be changed easily, but they are not going to break their entire system for one teacher when there are a ton of newbies out there looking for any job they can get. |
