Just wondering if anyone knows of potential positions that will be available towards the end of the year. I have spoken with a few recruiters such as Alistair and they said there are usually a few that are available, however I don't want to put all my eggs in one basket (if you know what I mean) so I figured I'd ask those who are actually working.

Most places hire in February because that's when the new term begins... You'd be much more likely to find a job if you waited a month... though there are always some places that are looking for people... they might just not be the cream of the crop

Thanks for the input. I will bump this thread up later. Alistair mentioned that there will be a few opening in December so I guess Ill keep checking the job board as well.

That's only referring to public schools. Hagwons have openings all around the year. Any recruiter telling you otherwise is lying. It might be harder some months than others due to semester times, but December is as good of a time as any. I know my school will have 4 openings in December unless people choose to resign.

December seems to have lots of openings as people like to extend for a few months but leave in December in order to be home for Christmas
