So I've been looking all over the Korean boards to find what I need to bring to immigration to renew my Visa for when I go back, and I haven't found anything. When I went to the immigration office in Daegu, they said I needed to get a FEDERAL apostille of my CBC and my Masters Diploma. So I'm back in the USA now and am wondering where to do this. Do I send it to a Federal place or can I get it done in the state at the Korean Consulate in Chicago? I'm pretty confused here

Federal Apostilles are done through the State Department. Check out http://www.state.gov/m/a/auth/ for all the details. They will only apostille Federally issued documents, like your CBC, so you will have to get your diploma apostilled through your state's Secretary of the State office. You can find what to do at http://www.cyberdriveillinois.com/departments/index/division.html
