HI Everyone,

I was wondering what are the entertaining things to do around these areas (bars, food, shopping)?

Thanks

Jeongja has a really nice cafe street area near the subway station.

I lived in Jukjeon, then moved to Ori later. I felt Ori had much less around its subway than Jukjeon, but Jeongja has that really chic cafe street, and a fair amount of other fun stuff. Bundang has a good share, too. So basically I'm suggesting not going to Ori, though it's not like it's a dessert of fun, and Jeongja would be my #1.

:::Facepalm:::

Jeongja and Ori ARE Bundang (as is EVERYTHING on the Bundang line between Ori and Yatap).

The word you're looking for is "desert" of fun, unless you're talking about cake.

Saying that AK Plaza is near Jukejeon is like saying Seoul Station is near Dongdaemun - that's about the distance you're talking about, around 2 miles.

OP, it really depends on WHERE in the area you're living. It's easy to say "I live near XXX station, but considering the size of Bundang (it's big) and the location of the subway stations (on the edge of the part of the Gu where people live), that really doesn't say much. I live near Seohyeon station (AK Plaza) but it still takes me a good 25 minutes to walk there, or about 20 minutes on the bus. There are plenty of bars, restaurants, movie theaters, parks, and anything else you could want in all of Bundang and the bus system and sidewalks and subway all make getting anywhere in a relatively decent time very easy to do.

Oops, you're right Nathan, I was really tired when writing that. But what I said about Ori and Jukjeon still stand. And yes I meant dessert....mmmmm.
