First of all, please let me apologize if this topic has been addressed elsewhere.

This month, everyone has been socked with a 16-20% health insurance deduction. That is to say, 16-20% of one's monthly salary. I was wondering if anyone can explain this seemingly inordinate and extreme deduction from our salaries.
