Hello~

Last November, I finished a contract, and then I went on a five month vacation. I left my things at a friends in Seoul.

The job I found when I came back was on Jeju Island (Lucky!)

However, I am trying to get my stuff from Seoul to Jeju. What would be the best route to take?

Also, where can I find some good boxes? The ones at the supermarket are too small. Also, I looked on gmarket but the largest one they had was 32cm across. My friend and I both work 9-5 jobs. So, the Korean Post office is probably off the table (unless they do pickups).

Thanks much~

I was going to suggest the post office. It's really affordable. If your friend can go during lunch, you're set. There are lots of taek bae (delivery) services around. They might do it... Also try a moving company. There's always a way to ship in Korea!

Best of luck!

The post office in my neighbourhood was open until 6 p.m.

The post office is a really cheap and quick way to ship things within Korea. I sent two big boxes by surface mail to my new job for 6,000 Won each. I got a call from my employer the next day to say that they had arrived.
