Soap and water. Kitchen cleaner. Weird foam cleaner. Window cleaner. All combined with sponges, scrubbers, towels. Shocked I've tried everything. My classroom desks are filthy. Dust and dirt come off with the aforementioned products, but I'm looking at ink and marker. I had new desks, but when I came in today, they apparently switched them with some old ones and put the new ones in another room. Thanks! Usually, I don't have a problem with students writing on the desks, so this is a bummer. I also don't want to invite any new writing. At least the majority of the writing is in English...

Product recommendations welcomed.

That's what I'm looking for. A strong solvent cleaner that will take off all the graffiti from my classroom tables.

I'm trying to introduce the 'broken window' theory in my classroom. I reckon if my classroom is pretty nice and clean, then students won't mess it up so much. If it's always like a pigsty then they will treat it like a pigsty.

On point. My classroom is old and there are footprints all the way up the walls! I told my English dept. manager that I would be willing to pay for supplies to paint my room if it was okay with the school, but she said I couldn't do it because then my room would be better than everyone else's...delightful!

Oxyclean and a scrub brush would probably do it. 옥시그린

They use this foul smelling spray stuff at one of my schools, but I can't remember the name. It seemed like common knowledge though, so maybe if you ask a co-worker... It reminds me of Spray 9, which was banned in schools where I'm from because it was so strong.

I pour a bottle of soju, equal parts vinegar, and a healthy jigger of schwa into a spray bottle. Cleans any surface!

Well, when I'm bent over my dirty desks, I use whiteboard cleaner. The smell is only medium poison, but it seems to do the trick.

WARNING! Vinegar & bleach should never be mixed. Bleach mixed with anything acidic creates chlorine gas which is really hazardous.

Do you see Schwa's avatar? That is actually an illustration of what will happen if you mix bleach and vinegar. Thanks for the heads up Schwa!
