I'm in Northern Seoul and nothing's really popping yet.
The Forsythias and Magnolias just started kicking a few days ago, but other than that, it still looks like winter here.
Could anyone chime in on what it looks like where they are?
Cherry blossom?
Azaleas? |

Warm in Sokcho today, I saw one boulevard of cherry trees in blossom. A few days off still for most.
Forsythia & wild azaleas everywhere. Magnolias have been putting on a good show, they opened a week earlier than usual here this year.
My students have been on about "grandmother flowers" & I've spotted a few. Tiny but pretty purple blooms known as pasque flowers or wind flowers elsewhere.
Saw my first butterfly this spring earlier this week. |

Went to Bukhan mountain yesterday. Pretty much everything is starting to get prime. The cherry blossoms will probably peak berfore next weekend here, but it will still be pretty everywhere up north.
Some old guy was eating those Rose of Sharon flowers. I guess they are edible |
