Assuming the weather is good, I want to take the gf on a picnic. What park or place in Seoul would you recommend?

Seoul Forest, Boramae Park, or Olympic Park are the three that spring to mind...

Yongsan Family Park (Ichon Stn. near Nat. Museum), go to the very back of the park.

If you are up for a hike, head up Bugaksan to one of the many picnic spots.

If you're in Gangnam, there's a great spot on the Tancheon - the small stream that goes south from the Han River. Walk to the Tancheon from Hanti Station - Exit 2, walk straight for several blocks (maybe 10-15 mins). Head down the steps by Daechi Sports Park and turn right at the bottom. Cross the bike paths and go over the stream by the small walking bridge. There's a sweet little pond shaded by trees and covered in waterlilies, and beside it there's a platform that's great for picnics. Surrounded by wildflowers in the Summer.

Hangang Park, right on the river. After you can rent some bikes and go for a ride.
