My friend and I are a trying to get from Daegu (her) and Gumi (me) to incheon airport. We want to go after work (so after 4:30) a week today.

but I keep finding info saying that the last limo bus that goes daegu> gumi > incheon airport is 3pm

can anyone find better info than that (or better yet, has personally taken the bus at 5:30 or something), if not, what's our best way to get there? I've only ever taken the limo bus there before.

There is definitely a gap between 3pm and midnight with no buses, I have been to the bus station recently.

Your best option is probably to catch a train together to Seoul Station and then transfer to the AREX to the airport.

The 15:00 northbound bus IS the last southbound out of ICN at 21:20.

If you two want to travel together, either KTX train 148 or 312 to Seoul would be your alternative. (not others)

148 departs Dong-Daegu at 16:47, calls at KTX Gimcheon-Gumi station at 17:10, arriving in Seoul at 18:36.
312 runs the same route, Dong-Daegu at 17:31, Gimcheon-Gumi at 17:55, Seoul by 19:20.
Then, of course, transfer to Airport Express train to ICN.

KTX seats will be allocated randomly and you two will be separated if you book tickets online, since the points of departure are different. If you go to a train station, you should be able to put two seats together by one of you purchasing both tickets at the same time.

Yea, I had to get a bus at around 1 or 2 in the morning because there was none sooner after school. Also had to go to Dong-Daegu to get it as it wasn't stopping in Gumi.
