| I have an American laptop, and I was wondering, can I get a new battery here, or do I need to have one shipped from home? And if so, any recommendations on where to go? |

| Search Danawa and see if it is available in Korea. Expect to pay double what it would cost in the US. |

The alley on the north side of the seon-in plaza at yongsan is the place to go.
You can also probably get them from some of the repair shops in seon-in plaza (refurbished will be cheaper than new).
Depending on the make/model of the battery it will probably cost you about 100k won for new and 1/2 that for refurb.
