I am being downsized from my current job in the Seoul area and will be moving to the Busan area. My Director is giving me a release letter and I'm assuming a very smooth transition is in order.

I can't foresee any problems with Immigration at the moment, but it is Immigration. Do I need to go to the office in Seoul with my current Director? Do I need to accompany my new employer to immigration? Does anybody out there have any experience with the transfer process?
