Are there any good services for USB internet through cell phone providers here, like LG? Would anyone know the possible costs and speeds? |

Wibro is decent, but it totally depends on where you live. In some areas it is super fast and in others is is painfully slow.
Ask your friends if any of them have it so you can try it at home or where ever you use your laptop.
Sorry, I can't provide rates, the last time I used it was in '08 and it was like 22,000 a month. |

cell phones aren't made for all the time internet. They're made for back-ups temporary usage.
Even Wimax isn't really up to being an all the time thing. |

Agreed.
USB = UnSuitable for Broadband.
