| Hey, I just wanted to know if someone could confirm that I have 90 days to do my medical exam for the ARC? Can I delay until a month or 2 after my arrival or can the school force me to do it within my first week? Thanks. |

Technically speaking you have 90 days to complete your medical exam and submit the results to immigration. Most of the time, the school will arrange an appointment with the hospital within a week or two after arriving in Korea. Without your ARC you can't get a cell phone among other inconveniences. I think if you delayed your medical check beyond a week or two your school would get a little suspicious.
If the school doesn't mention the medical check, don't bring it up. If they say "we have arranged for you to go to the hospital tomorrow" I don't think there is much you can do to avoid taking the test.
