I've been using the Seoul Bus iPhone/iPod Touch app for a few months now, it is great, showing exactly when buses around the city are arriving. But, yesterday it ask me to upgrade and now no longer works. I've tried to reinstall it but with the same results. Anyone having a similar problem? It really was the most useful app I had.

I haven't used it since I updated it, but I know that I downloaded another update today, so downloading the newer version (by a day) will fix the problem.

I don't know about it not working, but I think that it's cool that this app was made by a high school student.

It was made by a young dude, in his last year of high school, who decided to make an app to give bus information to English speakers.

He did a great job. I believe he got invited to international conferences by Google and Microsoft et al because of the success of his app.

Good on him. I think I read somewhere he got accepted to KAIST? I hope he doesn't top himself. I need my bus app!

Well it is still not working. I've noticed a bunch of complaints on the app page, so I hope they fix it. I would advise that nobody upgrade though.

Wow, the kid was in high school? That's crazy.

I've done that like 10 times, still no go. No I'm forced to wait for the bus blindly...

If you've jailbroken your device you may be able to find the previous version on the google net and download it. I haven't owned an iOS device in a couple years so you may be able to do this even if you haven't jailbroken it, idk.

It reverses halfway through the list usually. The stops are listed differently on the opposite side of the street, and sometimes the routes vary slightly, so the way back will be different.

The app itself is in english, but most of the stop information is in Korean.
