I leave for Korea in about three weeks. My recruiter advised to stop taking any medication, even over-the-counter stuff, a week before coming, because of the drug test.
This seems a little extreme. I take a low dosage of generic Prozac and don't really want to stop taking it (not to mention I read it takes a month to fully leave your system, so I'd have to stop taking it now).
Would this show up on a drug test? I also wanted to take a Tylenol PM for the flight over--but now I'm wondering if it's a good idea. Would over-the-counter stuff really show up on a drug test? That seems so dumb. |

| I can't comment on your meds, but I can say the recruiter is right to be cautious. I know someone who took a large dose of codeine (I think, some over the counter painkiller anyway) after slamming her finger in a car door, and this led to her testing positive for meth on the drug test. They let her take the test again a week later. |
