Hey, I'm scheduled to start the master cleanse diet next week and I'm all set except for laxative tea. If anyone knows where to get some or what the Korean equivalent is please let me know. Also, if the tea isn't available what is the deal with getting laxatives in Korea? Do I just go to the pharmacist and say whatever the Korean word for laxative is?

Sorry for making you think about my bowel movements, but I think yours and everyone else's time at the beach will be much happier if there is less pudgy pale flesh hanging over the sides of my suit.

I know this isn't what you want, but if you'll pardon my digression, the master cleanse is horrible for weightloss. I did it twice and both times I was tired, irritable, and I lost no weight. I don't know if you have any kind of chemical dependency, but it is just awful if you are a caffeine drinker. I ended up consuming more calories overall (in syrup) because I wasn't allowed my normal fix. Sad I also had massive, totally unfriendly headaches.

If you are looking to lose weight, I recommend any VLCD method plus lots and LOTS of caffeine.

With that said, the daily salt-water flush combined with your not consuming any solids, should be fine. A barley tea would do well, but any hot beverage will move things along.

If you can't find the tea, try miso soup. I've heard this recommended before for a cleanse.

Sorry I don't, but my mom does cleanses with olive oil. It doesn't sound too nice. Basically you drink a cup of olive oil. Anyways, she swears by it.
