She might know more than the rest of us do, but I won't take her too seriously.
Turkish food is poisonous?
I have not found any WHO reports about that, i mean, the relationship between turkish food and cancer incidence? and I take it for granted it is not because the officials in WHO love Turkish food better. |

She went off on tangents way too much. First Japan, then Chernobyl, then Turkish food, then Turks sending Russians tea, then Canadian exports. Meh |

Crackpot. The Japanese nuclear situation will have very little effect on anything outside of the exclusion zone.
I hate fearmongering like this. She says that the reactors move 1 million gallons of water per minute. Right... |

This is the woman who said 300 Space Shuttle missions would totally destroy the Earth's ozone layer.

That number sounds too great for us to wrap our heads around, but possible I think. I imagine these reactors are huge and need a lot of water to cool them down. |

Yeah, I agree. Fearmongering plus hindsight.
Oh, Helen Caldicott "The Dangers of Nuclear War." Is she going to lecture the Japanese about that, too?
I stopped listening when she started talking about Fall-U-JA. Where's the evidence that it was uranium-tipped shells, and not the huge mess of chemical agents used on that city? |

The voice of reason is here. His topic is the environment in general though.
