If anyone has spoken with a John Kim in regards to working at an Avalon franchise he is associated with, I would advise against it.

The Gangseo Avalon has just been purchased and new ownership is in place. They have not taken over the debt of the other teachers which is substantial, so prepare to be working with some not so happy teachers. Some hide it well, while others do not.

Even with new ownership nothing is promised. The pay issues have been an ongoing problem since the previous summer. The new "director" was working with this school before the previous director stepped into power. This director was around when the pay issues began. So this new director has once worked here and failed, yet has been brought back in.

I advise to stay away from anyone named John Kim, as he is a liar.

Just a heads up if whoever is taking over my position if you actually read this.

Hopefully things work out, but if not, let this be a warning....

I have since received what was owed to me. And seems like things are looking good for the school.

The new ownership is keeping their word.

John Kim is no longer associated with the school.

Hope the year is good for the person taking over.
