Can anybody help me out? Any other minimal heads in Seoul?

I know about the label ECI KOREA, but are there any online groups I can join to get the weekly word on minimal events around seoul?

I'm thinking the Berlin minimal kind of sound. I know it exists in Seoul!

Your best bet for consistent techno is LUV Superlounge in Itaewon.

A lot of the ECI guys are residents there, along with a handful of Euro expats who dig that scene. It's more of an upscale lounge than a club, but the sound design is great and their music policy has been pretty much straight techno since the jump. They do have guests who stray from that genre from time to time, but as mentioned it's still your best bet to get plugged in and get the 411 on other events around the city.

Well, LUV is about as close as you're going to get. Korea's nightlife/music scene isn't developed enough to support a venue dedicated to minimal techno.

For most of their residents, yeah...and several of them were/are also residents at LUV. The guests/headliners are all over the place though. This Friday it's Ferry Corsten (trance) and on Saturday it's Alex Kenji (progressive/tech house). Awesome lineup, but there's quite a lot of variety in their policy.
