Generally speaking, do universities accept recommendation letters written in Korean? None of the job posts I've seen were specific about that part.

Sorry, just realized how vague that was.

Yes, a university here. Are the hiring committees mostly native speakers? The job-postings have given that impression with their lack of errors.

Wouldn't worry about it...

Any university here will likely have a Korean local on the hiring staff, so the reference letter should be fine in English or Korean.

I had such a letter, written in Korean. It must have helped.

In Korea, if the University is one of the bigger ones the hiring committee will be mixed (Western and Korean).

Letters of recommendation in Korean are fine for ANY job in Korea and may be REQUIRED in some places.
