Military investigators are looking into reports that classified military documents have been spread on the Internet. Officials at the Defense Security Command, the military's oversight agency, said yesterday that it had started investigating allegations that documents with a "secret" classification had been distributed through a peer-to-peer service. A discharged soldier's personal computer seemed to be at the root of the security leak, said investigators. The soldier did classified work on the computer during his service, but forgot to delete the files when he was discharged.
