|
|
So I am applying for an E2 Visa for the first time and I have seen at least four different visa application forms, including ones from recruiters websites. They all ask for the same information but the formatting is definitely different, some are typed in Korea and English and others just English. I assumed that the form I should be using is the form from the Consulate website (Toronto) but the link they provide goes to a blank .php document. The other form I am considering using is the one that the school sent me directly but I have sneaking suspicion that this could cause problems when I take it to the consulate.
Has anyone else noticed this issue? Also the form that the school sent me had huge margins so I expanded the form to fit the page properly (still looks the same) and thus give me more room to fill in the fields. Think this will be an issue?
Thanks! |

Paper size is not an issue. Not every country uses the same sized paper. |

Umm I would try Hikorea web site for any form. Also use Internet Explorer when you visit Korean sites they tend to mess up in other ones. |

Thanks for the reply.
I went there (HiKorea) and the form is identical to the one that school sent me. So now I am wondering if it is appropriate to expand the document to better fit the page (standard letter)?
By default the margins are at least 1.5 inches, so I expanded that to be about .25 to .50 (cant remember exactly) inches all around. I know you can attach a separate piece of paper to fit information that won't fit into the standard fields but i don't know why they don't just put larger fields. For example the address field is about the same size as the phone number field and Korean addresses appear to be the longest addresses in the world! Probably an exaggeration but still.
Experiences? Thoughts? Opinions?

Best not to dicker with it. It has been complained about many times for years that some of the spaces they give for information is too small or to narrow and so on. Actually I thought they were supposed to fix that under the headings of big changes at immigration. |
