I'm not looking for a Harlem, Tinpan, or Ho Bar here. I can find clubs that play hip-pop no problem.

What I'd like to find would be more like a regular bar/lounge that plays good hip-hop music. A lot of older or underground stuff. A place to chill and listen to good head-nodding tunes.

Does such a place exist here?

You might want to check out The Hive/Roofers in Itaewon. They're across from each other up the road from the fire station. I believe they're doing a hip-hop night on Thursdays, and they have live hip hop acts/MC battles, etc.

Also, check out ICONZ Media on Facebook. They do some good hiphop parties...and not the Lil' Jon/Wayne kind of rap. More like J5, Tribe, Common, etc.

Also club Sensation in Hongdae. Yeah, those three bars have really good old-school and are generally meat-head free.

Go to Matmatta or Hodge Podge in Hongdae. Buy some Mokkoli from the main vendor near the park w/ the wheel barrow. Have Kalbi. Go to a club. Get soju from 711 or GS25 or LG or whatever. Hail a taxi and take it with you. Adventure done. Make sure the driver will wake you up without getting violent. Hellz yeah. Ok, if the above clubs are closed, go to Tin Pan, etc. I wish Route 66 was still there ....

Both of those places closed in 2004. Do you mean the Ohoo building? M2 and Qvo?
