Holy crap....check out some websites!
pusanweb should still be kicking around.
Busan city website has an english version thats decent.
That area is:
mixed commercial and residential
on subway line 1 (close to PNU which is a decent area to go out to eat and drink)
Fairly close to Somyeon by subway
Close to the mountains |

Check out Busan Haps: http://www.busanhaps.com
PNU area used to be the most happening place for foreigners in Busan.
Now, it's Kyungsung, Gwanganli & Haeundae.
Still a good place with some good hangouts and eateries |
