I wish I could help you. I'd like a stab at a full too (have just ran a half over here). There's the Suwon marathon....has that passed yet?
Best of luck--if I hear of a run, I'll dig this thread up. |

I did notice there's a half marathon coming up sponsored by the Korea Herald.
Some sort of National Pride marathon with a 5k and 14k option.
Why 14k? Isn't a half-marathon supposed to be 20k? |

There's a half marathon going on in Kangneung (Kangwon-do) Sunday, June 13th. This is also the opening weekend of the Danoe Festival, and the International Folklore Fetival.
Date: Sunday, June 13th.
Time: 9:00 am at Gyeong-po beach
Fee: 15,000 won for the 5k. 25,000 won for the 10k or half marathon.
Other: Price includes free, Cool Max t-shirt, medal, lunch, allyou can drink beer (lines are long), and makoli (traditional rice wine)
This is my 3rd year running in the 5K course, which is around Gyeong-po lake. Click here (http://www.lao-ocean.com/2004_March.html), and scroll down to see a picture of the lake. It'll be fun, and if the weather's as nice as it has been the past two years, you're already at the beach to enjoy the day.
PM me soon if you'd like to run. The deadine just passed, but my friend is the president of the Kangneung Marathon Club, who is organizing this, so I can still get you signed up, if you'd like.

| There's an Ironman on Jeju at the end of August, a qualifier for the world championships in Hawaii. If I do well in the two marathons I'm doing this year, then I'm contemplating making the event a resolution for next year. (If only there was an indoor swimming pool nearby. Training at a beach here on the island would be... chilly.) |
