|
|
I have to get an original Marriage certificate from Queensland for a visa application.
Part of the process means I have to send certified copies of a couple of documents (passport etc).
This means I have to get the copies certified as "a correct copy of the document" by a qualified witness such as a Justice of the Peace, or a Barrister/Solicitor.
Have any Australians been able to get copies of docs certified while in Korea without taking the trip to the Australian embassy in Seoul or Busan? (I'm in Daejeon)
Thanks in advance. |

I don't know which visa your applying for but I am guessing the E-2 with
an accompanied spousal visa. However, in answering your question, no.
It must be done at the Australian embassy(Seoul) or in Australia. As it is
an Australian document. I am not a 100% confident but it is unlikely that
you can get it done anywhere else in Korea. Maybe ring or email the
embassy in Seoul and ask them?Just get a family member or
friend to get it done for youin oz and then send it speed mail to you in
Korea. Cheaper than going to Seoul or losing a work day. |
