I was riding my bike the other day and the tire blew on me after popping a curb. I was pretty far from home and didn't feel like walking it back, so Ilocked it up outside Jamsilnaru station where it's free for the taking to whoever wants it.
Full disclosure, the bikes not so nice....but then again, it aint so bad. It was given to me by a friend that left the country and it's treated me well for the past 6 months. The whole time I've wanted to buy a new one though, just didn't because I had this one. Now I guess I can get an upgrade.
It's rusty. Not nearly the worst Ive seen, but it's pretty noticable. The shcoks ssqueak a bit. I normally rode with my MP3 player, so it didn't bug me. Other little things to, but it works.
If you want it, go to Jamsilnaru station and go to exit/entrance 4. When you go out, turn right and walk to the stirway right in front of you. Go under the stairs, and next to the elevator there are a bunch of bikes. This ones a blue mountain bike. Can't say much more, but it wont be hard to ID. The code to the lock is 1979.
If you want it, it's all yours. If you take it, just post a message here saying you took it. And hey, if ya feel like it's nice enough for ya, you could even wire me 10,ooo won or so |

Nice directions. I found it no problem. Other than the tire it was in decent condition: the breaks needed adjusting, the gears some oil, and the entire body needs one hell of a bath.
I really lucked out while I was walking around the station. I noticed some adjossis and an adjuma working their way down the line, replacing tubes and inflating tires on what I assume are abandoned bikes. I asked if they would replace mine. We agreed on 12k won. Awesome timing!
They greased the gears, I adjusted the breaks and the seat, and I started my long trip home. I live about an hour and a half out of Jamsil by bus. Took a shower when I got home (the bike is really dirty!) and will be cleaning up the bike tomorrow. Again, thanks! I leave in a little over a month myself and will giving the bike away also. Did I mention how dirty it is? |

Nice, glad that you got it. It sounds like youre ready to put a little bit of work into it to make it a better ride.
