I'm going to be moving to S.Korea in the next couple of months and was wondering how the cost of a guitar compares to the UK. I assume the classic stuff is a similar price but I'm thinking of some sort of good quality strat or telecaster copy.

I paid maybe 25% more than I would have in Canada, but that's because I probably would have been able to shop around better in Canada with the use of English and the internet. |

I got a Cort (Korean) acoustic when I was there. Cost 160,000 won and they threw in a crappy leather guitar case. That was back in 2005/2006. |
