I have tried to search this on the internet but can't find that much information. I just know that you can walk/cycle along Anyangcheon all the way to Seoul - I think it is about 35 miles. Now the weather is getting nicer I really wanted to try this trail out. I don't have a clue how to get to the Anyang river though! Embarassed Does anyone know the best way to get there? Has anyone ever taken this trail? I live in Pyeongchon so if anyone has any directions from there it would be much appreciated.
Thanks!

It's the river that runs from south to north. To put things in perspective: go out exit one at Beomgye and go straight. Turn left at the big intersection that the Newcore Outlet building is on. Walk straight down that street for a few blocks until you get to a river. If you go right, it leads to Seoul; left goes toward Uiwang and Suwon.

Also, going straight down the street that the Lotte Mart in Uiwang is on will lead to it.

There are also trails connecting the one running along the Anyang River trail that go to Baegun Lake and the art park.

Yeah it's super easy if you're in Pyeongchon just go down towards the stream (Anyang cheon) in the direction of Gwanak mountain. Once you hit the stream - if you go right you'll get to the entrance of Bogeum lake. If you go left you'll eventually hit a fork: Seoul is to the right, Uiwang is to the left. If you continue on to Seoul you can also go to Anyang Art Park, just take a right at the sign. Or you can keep going to Han River and to Seonyudo or Yeouido from there.

It's an awesome trail, especially at night. On my beat up Lespo it takes around 3.5 hours to go from Beomgye to Han River and come back.

Oh, by the way if you cross the stream (coming from Pyeongchon) and keep going, you'll hit the entrance to the Gwanak mountain trail (takes you to the top and you have a choice of hiking back to Anyang or going to Gwacheon station, Sadang station, or Seoul Nat'l Univ. station.
