I need to buy more ram for my old macbook (black 2007). I am pretty sure I know what I need to get but where can I go to buy it and get it put in? I live in sanbon (gunpo city) so the closer the better. Cheers! |

I couldn't tell you where to buy your RAM, but if you go to http://www.crucial.com/mac/ and run a scan, it will let you know all your compatible RAM options. |

it's really easy doing it yourself - go to www.ifixit.com
you can buy it over at yongsan market
go to the "about this mac" on your menu, and select "more info" then scroll down until you find the memory listed, write everything down that describes your memory and take it with you.
considering the age of your mac, tho, you might want to consider a new hard drive also if you are still using the original one. |

One - tech forum.
Two, do it yourself? Head up to Yongsan and get what you need. If you really want to have someone do it, plenty of places there. It's only a 30 minute subway ride from Sanbon and the prices would be reasonable. |

Either line 4 to Sinyongsan, or Line 1 to Yongsan.
If you take line 4, get out of the northwest exit (if it's open, it may be under construction still.) Head west through the tunnel, and go to the big triangle building.
If you take line 1, go out the backside of the station, across the skywalk, then through the building and across the other skywalk, then cross the street north to the triangle building.
You could also stop IN Yongsan station, but they tend to be a bit pricier. There is an authorized Apple retailer there, however. |

I would advise doing it yourself and purchasing it off the internet since the haggle at yongsan could be quite tiring. |
