I think many would prefer that hagwans and elementary schools shift the focus towards quality rather than cheapness and looks (including color, sex and age preferences), but the hiring is done by Koreans business owners (thus cheap) based on the preferences of their customers (thus young caucasian girls).

I have heard this many times. Is it really true that K-moms want caucasians?? Or is it an excuse used by hagwon owner to hire caucasians?? |

Why would the hagwons want to hire caucasians if the (management thought that the) mothers didn't want caucasian teachers? After all, hagwons are businesses and they want to cater to their clientele. |
