If anybody is looking for something to do on Thursday, you can go to Taco Rico in gangnam. It is the only restaurant that serves real mexican food in Seoul, instead of tex-mex kind of stuff. You can check out their website at http://tacorico.wordpress.com

It's not much of a recommendation and not much of a website, either.

Tomatillo might do something. I think they did something a while back with free food and booze, but it wound up being the usual cluster of drunk foreigners acting like fools.

Tomatillo is doing another party;
Quote:

It will be a day of great food, drinks and live music. DJ Ingram will be in the house and there will be event tents to purchase your choice of menu items. All items will be W4,000 each. There will be margaritas, Mexican beer and draft beer by KA BREW, 2 tacos with choice of meat (pork carnitas, grilled chicken, or summer vegetables), quesadilla with choice of meat, and chili cheese nachos.

Also, dont forget about the burrito & jalapeno eating contest. There will be a contest, prizes, Tequila shots and dancing. What more could you want?

Date: Thursday, May 5th
Time: 12  8 pm
Place: Tomatillo, Center 1 Building near Ulgiro 1ga (ex. 4)

I was in Los Angeles once at a bar, and the lady says sorry, no Happy Hour today because of Cinco De Mayo.

I never went there again.

It was just a helpful tip for those interested. If you have nothing to add worth reading, move along...nothing to see here.
