looks like the LT+ firmware has just been released and so we will be able to play our backups of fable 3 and Assassin's Creed Brotherhood again.

Does anyone have any idea when this firmware will be available in yongsan?, bit iffy about opening my xbox myself.

No reason to think they don't already have it now.. If I can get it off the net I am sure they can do the same at the click of a mouse button.

That's pretty good. I've been quoted 70k won at several outlets.

What I'm waiting for is the damn Slim 0225 firmware. Been waiting for a half a year now since C4EVA first announced it was possible and I went out and bought a slim 360 with promises it'd be done around last December... :/

The 9504 fw is out and the 0225 was supposed to follow shortly, but apparently they ran into a new obstacle and now I'm wondering whether it was worth it to buy the 360 in the first place :/

I bought a new slim (0225) a few months ago in the same hope that a firmware would be released. Just a note on what's going on now:

1. custom firmware for 0995 (slims manuf. before about July 2010) is out now, and
2. a release for 0225 drives is coming soon, but
3. MS is releasing an update (probably this month) for the xbox that apparently flashes the drive back to original firmware. Just the once or every time the machine is turned on is unknown AFAIK. Also, MS will be introducing a new disk format of some sort.
4. There is a new development that looks very promising; a USB loader like that used on custom Wii's. This is expecting a June release.
5. Finally, C4 is saying that he will be coming out with something even better than this USB loader! Very Happy

It's always been a cat and mouse game...just have to wait and see.
