Okay, help needed.

I've been primarily looking for jobs in Busan and Ulsan.

I'm now getting offers for interviews on a daily basis. But I'm being pretty selective.

However, someone pointed out to me that the students are gonna graduate soon (here in the UK - don't know about elswehere) so it's gonna become a lot harder to get a job.

So I'm thinking I need to perhaps widen my net.

I dont want the moon on a stick; just somewhere with decent nightlife, restaurants, cinemas etc and a decent sized ex-pat community.

Anywhere is gonna be a step up from where I currently live!

So besides Seoul, where do you reccomend?

No offence, but what does this have to do with teaching?

Maybe, its best in the General section.

Busan is better for those things. Seoul is the best. Ulsan is boring from what I have heard.

Seoul and Busan.

In some resort towns there is a scene during the vacay season, but unless your a ski bunny, I wouldn't go live in Yangpyeong to do so.

The problem is, there is a lack of young people and the vast majority try to make it to Busan and Seoul ASAP.

Many of the smaller cities and towns seem exclusively aimed at families and old people.

Daegu or Daejeon, for sure.

Busan is where everyone tries to get the jobs - because of the (crappy) beach and expat Jersey-Shore vibe (siggggh).

Daegu and Daejeon are both decently sized, well-located, have their own things going on, and decent sized expat communities.

Jeonju has a smallish (a few hundred) Expat community, but punches well above its weight in terms of having lots of things going on. It's also well within reach of Seoul for a weekend, or even a night out if you finish early - the new KTX line is due to open shortly putting it within 2hrs travel of Seoul.

Gwangju has a cool vibe too.

I can think of three off the top of my head: Seoul, Seoul and Seoul. Oh and I almost forgot: Seoul.
