|
|
if i send all the documents needed for the E2/C4 visa application,
with a letter of my intended dates of entry/reentry,
along with letters of invitation for 2 different jobs,
can i apply for an E2 visa and C4 visa issuance
number at the same time?
i want to do a summer camp position that ends about a week
before i start another job in seoul.
then, when the camp position and visa are finished,
im hoping to have the E2 visa issuance number ready so that
i can do a visa run with minimal delay/process time.
in other words, i want to apply for 2 visas in one application,
to save time, effort and money.
i know that the korean immigration website answers questions
like this but when i click on the Q+A link on the website i
get directed to a page about starting petitions.
has anyone ever had experience with this type of situation?
thanks in advance for your advice. |

You might be able to do it without leaving the country at all. I have done this in the past. I was on a C4 visa and switched to an E2. I brought all of the documents to the immigration office (contract, degree, transcripts, etc) and they stamped the status change in my passport and I was on my way. This was 2008 though, so who knows how things may have changed since then. Give immigration a call if the website isn't working. |
