|
|
Hey guys,
I need the addresses of all the public schools in Seoul. Kindergarten, Elementary and High School. Preferable in Korea, but English is fine too.
Does anyone know of a site or a place I can get all of them, instead of hunting them down one by one on their addresses... as I find them and guess their names based on their districts?
If you don't know but have an idea go ahead and post it... it might help later on down the line. I know there is such a site in Korean but my Hangul really isn't that great. |

WHy do you need all that info? YOu might try checking with EPIK, SMOE, or GEPIK. That would be a good place to start. |

It's for a school project. I work a a research school.
I'm going over those today with my co-teachers. I wish someone could just hand them to me in a spreadsheet...
Any other ideas? |

First you need the name of all the schools. A Korean can search on a Korean website. On each website, for each school, they have their addresses written towards the bottom in hangeul. Get a Korean friend to help you. Use Naver. |

Did you run down all the private schools as well? Not private as in hagwon, but private as in tuition type elementary, middle, and high schools.
I worked for a private elementary school like that a few years back and it was the best job I've ever had. I never should have left, haha. But it's great, as long as it's not one of the Christian schools. No co-teacher, get your own classroom, loads more holidays than public schools, better salary, and some don't hire through GEPIK, EPIK, SMOE. They just hire for themselves. So none of that terrible GEPIK training malarky and no full written lesson plans and short essays just to get an interview (which is why I refuse to go through EPIK... no way am I putting all the time and effort into making an lesson plan and essay and then not be told what school I'm working at until the last minute, and if I don't like it, well too bad.) |
