Does anyone know where I can find a translator in Seoul that is registered with the US embassy? Apparently having a Korean marriage license in Korea, issued by a Korean government office, is not good enough for Korean immigration-- they need my marriage certificate authenticated by the US embassy, and the embassy needs it translated and notarized by someone registered with the US Embassy. Conveniently, when I called the embassy, they had no idea who was registered with them! Wow--- I wonder why more people don't have faith in the US government!

Any way, anyone know one?

If you go outside the embassy and around the back there are tons of translation places that do it. They have all the forms already done, so they just fill in your information. It's about 10,000won per document.
