I'm interested in doing some investing with my money that's sitting in my regular account.
What's the best way to do it in Korea? I've heard KEB Mutual Funds but having trouble getting much info on that.
What do you do w/ your money? |

I'm also with KEB and about a year ago I went into one of their "Foreign VIP Centers" - the Star Tower Branch at Yeoksam Station.
Although they had very little mutual fund information in English, the woman I dealt with spoke very good English. I ended up setting up an automatic monthly purchase of 4 different funds. Although I wanted index funds, I think the only index fund I was able to get was for the KOSPI (one of the Korean indexes). I thought the fees (both initial and annual) were much too high, but there don't seem to be too many other options for foreigners in Korea.
I don't know how much has changed since last year, but going to your closest Foreign VIP Center is probably your best bet to get started. |
