My fiance and I are going to India for a week in June, and his work wants him to find a substitute teacher for his classes. Does anyone know where we can find someone that can work for just a week or where we should post? Is there a company that does this? Any information would be great!

One would have to ask who's responsibility that is. I would argue that your school is responsible for adminsitrative recruiting stuff like that.

However, if your school just asked for friendly help given your ex-pat knowledge within the english teaching community, then fair enough.

Why not advertise the post on one of the few English teaching job forums on Facebook. You should get a few replies.

I posted on the wall of one of teaching in Korea groups with a lot of members a week or so ago, but I haven't gotten a response. I don't know how many people check the wall of those kind of things. Does facebook has forums?? That's completely new to me.

Have always used craigslist in the past and usually I get way too many responses.

Koreabridge is a site for Busan and area foreigners. Used to see lots of those types of posts there.
