My friend has a pretty decent chance of snagging a job working for a department in the korean government handing minor level execuive tasks. Awesome pay too.
Anybody know what visas you'd likely get and what it's like to work for the korean goverment.
He's pretty excited so far
I heard it's pretty cool and chill. |

Does he speak Korean?
I assume (could be wrong) that this would be a requirement to work for the Korean government...
Good luck to your friend anyway. |

Interesting and I wonder how that work will take shape considering he or she will be working for the Korean government in Korea.
I worked with Korean governmental agencies over the years when they contracted the services of my consulting agency. In most cases, speaking Korean was a must for simple efficiency reasons.
That was different from working for the K-government of course. |

I almost landed a job working for the Korean Gov doing PR for the petrochemical industry. In the end though they opted for a Russian woman because her Korean was way better than mine.
The conditions were decent except for the holiday time (about 80 million Won per year but only 10 days off). It would have involved a lot of travel though which can be a bit of a pain. |
