Just had a pretty fun time at this place. If you ever have the urge to pop off a few rounds check it out. It's on the 3rd floor basement of Lotte world by the ice rink. If you find your way down to the rink, find the ticket booth and skate rental area, it's about 30 feet to the right. You have to pay 20,000 for 10 shots on the smaller guns (.38 and 9mm) and 30,000 for the larger guns (.45 and .357), but if you buy your tickets on gmarket, you can get them for 25% off.
For the smaller guns, I shot the Sig P238 and Glock 17. Between the 2, the glock was much sweeter to shoot. I wouldn't recommend the Sig. The trigger was really loose and seemed to be just sorta hanging there. The glock was really smooth and much more accurate. If you've never shot a gun before, don't worry about it. I took 2 first timers with me, and the instructors show you everything and get you set up to shoot.
Happy Shooting |

i thought it was whack. 20,000 for 10 shots. The gun was attached to a black string on both sides so you don't point it towards anyone. Plus it's whack that they need to have someone basically babysitting you through it. They load the rounds for you too. |

Yeah it really is babysitting... I played with the .357 Mag... the sight wasn't was even aligned properly, the guns look and feel really old. Plus no rifles -_-...the experience was sort of like shooting a BB gun. |

Yeah, I agree with the babysitting thing and the condition of the guns. I think it depends on which person is showing you how to use the gun. The first gun I fired, the guy asked me if I ever shot a gun before and after I told him I used to hunt, he just asked me to squeeze the trigger once slowly, and then handed me the clip and let me fire away. The gun on the chain didn't really bother me much. And, the first gun I shot, the Glock 17, was in pretty good shape and the sights were dead on. I got 7 out of 10 in the center ring with the other 3 just outside of it. I can't say the same about the Sig though, It was pretty bad. I have pretty good aim and every shot I took was about 4 inches below where I was aiming. If you're gonna go, buy your tickets online and save $5 and try the Glock 17. |

I had a 9mm Smith and Wesson 5946 back home. It was a chunk. I didn't really like it but it was a tough pistol. Probably would have preferred a Glock. I hear the Sigs are nice, too. Would love to go in there and shoot off a few rounds. Not too hot on the idea of the string and how it seems to be set up, though.

This place is the biggest ripoff in Korea. A box of 100 9mm rounds is 20$ retail. They're charging 10x that price to shoot an old gun on a string. They make you wear a vest, and only allow one person in the range at the time.

And for the record, it's not a clip, it's a magazine. |

The reason that I was told is that some Korean dude committed suicide there and that is why you can only aim the gun forward now and can't wave it around. |

Places like this will make me miss the grand ole USA where guns and ammo are proudly available on every street corner. I shoot 250 rounds in an hour for $15 in range time. |

If anyone can recommend a good shooting range I'd love to hear about it. Price and location are the important bits of info.
I'm in Bundang and I'd love to do some shooting with my buddies. |

Agree with the above posters - I can't in good conscience bring myself to spend that much money when I own 8 guns back home PLUS the reloading equipment. I fire .357s for the price that most people fire .22's, while they charge for .22's what most American's pay for SW 500's. UGH. |

This is relevant to my interests. I have noticed the range there before and couldn't be sure that it was an actual shooting range. So thanks for the info.
I'd like to ditto what the above poster asked, if there's any good ranges around Seoul with decent prices please let us know.
I've personally never fired a gun, except in Counter Strike, but I would love to have a go. 10 rounds sounds way too few, I'd like to fire off about 50 for that price. That would be fair. |

I had 3 magazines with 15 rounds in each magazine or 45 rounds. When at the range working on a specific course of fire, I usually went through 7 or 8 magazines in the span of about an hour.
10 rounds is crazy, particularly for the price they're charging. |

Are there any other shooting ranges in Seoul besides the one in Lotte World? |
