So I have a package held up in customs. After some talking with my coworker and she made several phone calls I got an informational brochure on what is and isn't taxed--but it isn't very helpful. It comes with a number but I can't seem to get through to the office. Has anyone else had to deal with customs? What do I do? |

Did you try the customs website?
http://english.customs.go.kr/
Are you over the limit (valuation) or tried to import items that are not tax exempt? If so, pay the tax and pick it up (or have it sent).

email [email protected] and give identifying details about your package. They'll tell you what to do next, bascially to agree on contents and value, then bank transfer of applicable charges before couriering package to you. Was pretty impressed with the service, if not the import taxes. |
