Does anyone own, or know anything about the Daewoo Rezzo? I came across an opportunity to get a 2001 LPG model for 1.5 million. It has approximately 160,000KM in the odometer. That seems really good to me. I looked at Encar and I saw the 2001s were going for 2-3 million.

What about the quality? Engine? Insurance cost? I know it's a Daewoo, so it wont be the greatest, but I don't want to buy a bucket of bolts that will cause major headaches down the road.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

IMO, for 1.5 million, you are really just buying someone else's headaches.

A 10 year old Daewoo would not be a good choice if you need something reliable.

I've got a 2002 Rezzo. Granted the mileage is fairly low and it doesn't cause me too many headaches. However, the 2002 model has a flaw in the engine that causes the gasket to wear out. This makes the car suddenly stop and it won't move. This happens at regular intervals like clockwork. This particular model was recalled and I've got till the end of the year (I think) to get it repaired for free but next year I get to cough up the cash and it won't be cheap.
