Hey folks,
So I'm living above a superhighway and get this black dust all over everything in my apartment. I'm getting concerned about breathing it and seriously thinking about buying an air purifier. My girlfriend has had some kind of sinus issues since we moved to this place.
So what kind of purifier should I get - Ionic or HEPA, or ??
Are they meant to be left on 24/7?
Any recommendations on a brand name? I want something that actually works.
How big does it need to be? I have a 16 pyeong place. I'm not even sure how you measure the "capacity" of an air purifier.
Any thoughts? |

Hanil HAC-1100
I own two. Great value and moves a high volume of air when needed. Easy to operate. One I own is 4 years old or more.
Find them online at www.enuri.com
Search on the model number. Price is around 80,000. Emart has the hello kitty model but drastically overpriced. |

I have an LG Whisen with a HEPA filter. Best thing I've purchased since arriving.
If you do a naver.com shopping search, they'll list the size of the apt. for each air purifier. Mine set me back around 200,000. |

Thanks to both of you for your responses. I'll try to report back once I've made a purchase - in case anyone else is interested in buying one. |
